Monabo Hygiene Services was founded in 2009 and is a 100% black woman owned South African company. It is a registered company that offers residential and commercial cleaning to private households, commercial and government sectors. The services range from standard cleaning of office blocks, specialized cleaning like cleaning of washroom dispensers and maintenance thereof, household like cleaning of rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, carpet cleaning, pest control as well as emergency jobs like small disaster spillages and flooding (water extraction).
Since its inception in 2009, with first office in Pretoria, Monabo Hygiene Services has nationwide footprint. Monabo has enjoyed steadily growth with 5 employees from 2010 and now with 410 employees in 2017. Monabo’s growth was not by mere chance but by the committed and competent workforce coupled by the support from Nedbank who is our major corporate partner and client since 2012. Adding to this Monabo Hygiene has experienced management with more than 20 years in the facilities management industry (cleaning and environmental sector). It also commits to environmentally friendly cleaning methods that save energy reduce waste and provide hygienic workplaces. We strive to set ourselves apart from other cleaning companies by never losing sight of the unique needs of the clients, men and women we represent. As Monabo we believe that, our existence depends on People, Planet and of course the profits. This means that, our organization’s corporate goals are formulated around three pillars:

About the Founder
A positive and self-driven woman with wealth of experience in Property and Facilities Management which she accumulated during her employ from various industries and sectors. She rose steadily through the ranks with leadership roles and has managed several strategic projects. Business applications such as marketing, communication, facilities management, project management, communications and marketing has enabled me to develop strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, contract expertise and strong leadership role and motivational abilities.
Bongiwe is the top achiever of the Goldman Sachs-GIBS 10,000 Women Certificate Programme for entrepreneurs for the year of 2013/14. She also holds a B. Comm (Hons) and a Certificate in Project Management in the Built Environment and Asset Management.
